This club is dedicated to preserve Camaret-sur-Mer history and in particular the town maritime heritage.
For that purpose, the association is managing the Camaret-sur-Mer Maritime Museum which has been setting up in a former fish canning factory.
The museum displays all about the fishermen daily life in the Camaret-sur-Mer of the 1930s. Unpublished photographs, old postcards, testimonies, genuine tools and working clothes could take you on a journey through time to tell you about the past sardine and spiny lobster fisheries adventure.
ASSOCIATION NAUTISME ARTS ET CULTURE
Since 2009, this club gathers all of local artists around common values and with different arts outlooks.
This association is dedicated to develop artistic exchanges and to liven up Camaret-sur-Mer town with lectures every Wednesday, musical performances and poetry festivals throughout the year.
This artists’ community organizes about 40 different cultural events per year.

Built in 1992, La Belle Etoile is a copy of an old ship formerly dedicated to fishing spiny lobsters.
